Elementary Special Education Teacher

Alma Public School is seeking a motivated, energetic individual for an elementary Special Education position for the 2023-2024 school year. The successful candidate is one who will be able to demonstrate successful instructional skills, collaborative skills, and a desire to develop successful students. Appropriate Nebraska certification is required. Extra duty positions may be available.

Additional Information

The salary will be based on the successful applicants experience and placement on the salary schedule. Start date will be approximately August 8th of the 2023-2024 school year.  Alma is located in South Central Nebraska on the northern shores of the Harlan County Lake, the 2nd largest lake in Nebraska.  The community of 1200 has all of the amenities found in larger towns including the Harlan County Hospital and Medical Clinic, dental, eye care, chiropractic, and many businesses.  Other amenities includes a new swimming pool and slide, a 9 hole golf course, a walking trail, hunting, fishing, and boating opportunities.  Check out the school website at https://www.almacardinals.org/  and the City of Alma website at https://almacity.com/home.
