Teachers of grades 6-8 Social Studies and Science or Math

Plan instruction, teach, differentiate instruction, and assess students in grades 6-8 Social Studies and Math or Science.

Display excellent classroom management and relationship-building skills with middle school students through organization and positive interactions.

Maintain academic progress records and evaluate this progress by conducting routine assessments of student performance and documenting progress through the school’s standards-based grading system.

Collaborate with resource staff for the purpose of fulfilling designated goals in students’ Individual Education Plan or accommodation plan.

Display good oral and written communication skills with students, parents, and school staff.

Develops and presents lessons that demonstrate planning and preparation that are consistent with the course of the Archdiocesan and Nebraska content standards for Social Studies and Science or Math.

Supports the mission of the school and upholds the teachings of the Catholic faith.

Additional Information

Bachelor’s degree in Education from an Accredited college or university.
A valid Nebraska teaching certificate or provisional Nebraska teaching certificate.
A Middle School endorsement in Social Studies and Science or Math.
Completion of a background check and Safe Environment Training.
