Position Overview

Reports to: Principal

All Saints Catholic School is seeking a passionate and faith-filled 7th Grade Teacher to join our dedicated team. This full-time position includes teaching 7th & 8th Grade English Language Arts, as well as 7th Grade Religion and Geography. The ideal candidate will foster a love of reading and writing, help students grow in their faith, and create a dynamic and supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, standards-based lessons for 7th and 8th Grade ELA.
• Teach 7th Grade Religion in alignment with Catholic teachings and curriculum.
• Teach 7th Grade Geography, integrating interactive and culturally relevant content.
• Assess and monitor student progress; provide constructive feedback.
• Create a safe, structured, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Collaborate with fellow faculty and staff to support student success.
• Maintain regular and effective communication with students, parents, and colleagues.

Qualifications

Education & Certification:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education (or related field)
• Valid Nebraska Teaching Certificate (or ability to obtain one)
• Safe Environment Certification (or willingness to complete)

Skills & Experience:

• Strong instructional and classroom management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Ability to integrate faith and learning
• A commitment to the mission and values of Catholic education
