5th Grade Teacher

All Saints Catholic School is accepting applications for an anticipated upper-elementary teaching position for the 2023-24 school year. The position will require that the teacher plans for, teaches, and facilitates learning for students and creates a positive learning environment. The teacher will provide interventions and accommodations to support each student’s participation and progress in the general curriculum. The teacher will also maintain academic progress and records for students while also working collaboratively with students, parents, and building staff.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
The teacher will work daily in a Catholic, faith-filled environment to form and develop students. This individual must maintain high classroom expectations in all areas and develop and implement daily lesson plans aligned with the Archdiocese curriculum. This professional must be able to use a variety of rigorous formative and summative assessments to evaluate individual academic progress and adjust instructional plans to meet the needs of students while setting and reinforcing clear expectations and routines that align with school-wide mission and goals. The ideal candidate must display great communication skills with staff, parents, and administration.

Education and Experience
Must have or be able to obtain a valid Nebraska Teaching Certificate or Provisional Nebraska Teaching Certificate with a Bachelor’s degree in Education from an accredited college or university. Applicants must also complete a background check and the Archdiocese of Omaha required Safe Environment training.
