Agriculture Education or Industrial Technology
Due to retirement, Ainsworth Community Schools (ACS) is actively seeking applicants to fill a position of Industrial Tech (STS) or Agriculture Education. We have a wonderful, newer, 2.9 million-dollar Ag and Industrial Tech facility for our Ag and Skills/Tech programs. We are open to considering various options for filling this vacancy, including adding a second Ag/FFA teacher-sponsor or taking advantage of Career and Tech Ed certification flexibility through the Nebraska Department of Education. If you are Ag Ed, FFA, or STS, don’t hesitate to reach out and explore this excellent opportunity.
In addition, there are several opportunities for coaching, including head boy’s basketball, head boys wrestling, head girls wrestling, etc. Coaching is not required to be considered for this position.
ACS is a Class D/C sized district in north central Nebraska with approximately 380 students preK-12. The community highly values career and tech education, and the support and resources are outstanding. ACS serves the students of Brown County and the communities of Ainsworth, Johnstown, and Long Pine. The staff at ACS is a tight-knit staff with a genuine drive and passion to serve kids in a collaborative environment.
